Better monitored maritime approaches

The TAMARIS project plans to develop a help tool for the authentication of threats. This tool will be integrated with current systems for monitoring maritime approaches that detect abnormal events during movements of vessels. TAMARIS will manage energy supplies and passenger transportations, which are critical situations with regard to potential terrorist acts, indeed other illegal acts (clandestine immigration, drug trafficking, infringement of regulations, disasters…).The TAMARIS project involves a total R&D budget of 1834 K€. It was selected within the «Global Security Tools and Concepts» call for projects of the French Research Agency (ANR).TAMARIS is supported by DCNS, with business partners including INTUILAB, ECOMER and ARMINES and research partners including ONERA, the CDMO (Nantes) and the French Marine Investigation Office (BEA/Mer).
