Convergence areas between the Qualitropic and PACA Marine Clusters

During a visit to the home country, France, at the beginning of June, the Qualitropic Cluster has reaffirmed its interest for the competences of the PACA Marine Cluster and its unifying programs in particular.

The Qualitropic Cluster, competitiveness cluster of the Reunion Island, cultivated in recent years, regular cooperation with the PACA Marine Cluster. During its visit at the beginning of June in the home country, several meetings have been organized in Sète and Toulon. In particular representatives of Qualitropic were able to visit Suez/Ecocean, Greensea, Ifremer Sète, Cepralmar and Biocar in the Languedoc Roussillon Region, then at the headquarters of the Cluster and La Seyne: the contract of the Bay of Toulon, the Centre for Training and Promotion of Sea professions, etc.
Qualitropic has demonstrated an interest in several subjects at the heart of the unifying programs of the Marine Cluster: aquaculture, future vessel, biotechnologies (including micro-algae with Bioalgautral) and the environment (in the framework of Services for Marine Environment Strategy).

NOTE

Projects awaiting 2010 FUI results

During the 10th call for projects of the Single Interministerial Fund, five projects accredited by the Marine Cluster have been submitted: four of them have been pre-selected: DELPOTEX, OPTIMA PAC, ROV3D and PARAMILLS. The final results will be announced by the end of July.
