The twelfth session of the Cannes Water Symposium was held at the Festival Palace of Cannes from 30 June to 2 July 2010. For its first attendance, the Cluster shared a stand with two of its members: Subsea Tech and Veolia and organised conferences on two of its strategic themes. On 1st July, in collaboration with Thalès Alenia Space, the Cluster presented Spacemer, the maritime satellite surveillance project. On 2nd July, Christophe Avellan, coordinated a conference on new challenges facing recreational ports; these two conferences draw together more than one hundred people. Admiral Van Huffel and the maritime Prefect, Yann Tainguy, were present at this event.
