The vessel of the future in the heart of the Grenelle of the Sea

Following the Sea Interministerial Committee (CIMER) held in December 2009, the competent committees validate the operational implementation of the Grenelle of the Sea commitments.

An ad hoc group dedicated to the vessel of the future has been set up, with a Research Orientation and Innovation in Construction and Naval Activities Board (CORICAN), similar to the CORAC body that exists in the aeronautics field.
Topics proposed for the research program and proposed demonstrators are dedicated to energy savings, liquid, solid and gaseous discharge treatment as well as security. Funding for these different proposals is currently under review.
