ACRI-IN and the CNRS Nice: a partnership awarded scientific recognition
Studies by the CNRS Nice in conjunction with ACRI-IN were published recently in the prestigious New Journal of Physics.
Studies on surface waves conducted by the J-A. Dieudonné laboratory of the National Science Research Centre (CNRS) in Nice were published in the highly respected New Journal of Physics at the end of 2010. The laboratory works in collaboration with researchers at the firm of ACRI-IN, a member of the PACA Marine Cluster, where it tests its hydrodynamics results in the firm’s wave channel. The scientific issues are twofold: for the engineers, understanding the interaction between wave and currents, and for the physicists, understanding wave propagation in a moving medium.
